Blanco Bungalow Kitchen Reno: Week 10, Our Range is Finally Going In

Omg, it’s now week ten of our Kitchen Renovation, and this week our Samsung Bespoke Gas Range is finally getting installed!

Our hood is in, our sink is in, we’re finishing micro cement on the walls and sealing where it´s ready to be sealed.

I wish the floating shelves were here, but we’re still waiting on those for a bit longer.

on this side, our Kohler sink is installed. I wish we would have moved the electrical box for the sconce so I could have a pendant from the ceiling, but it’s all good. The windows have turned out a bit wonky, but again, it is what it is. I´m not going to lose sleep over them.

we decided to micro cement the walls, which I am absolutely in love with. the only thing is that we should have done the ceiling as well, and the breakfast nook.

haha the bright white ceiling really bugs me. hindsight maybe I could have just matched the micro-cement color and painted the ceiling to match. I think that would have made a huge difference.

and here comes the range. its a bit more modern than I originally wanted, but I kind of like the juxtaposition of such a rustic kitchen with a bit more modern appliances.

this thing even has a built in air fryer.

so that´s our week 10 progress report. again, it probably doesn´t look like we tackled that much because there were still layers on layers of micro cement and sealer happening, and a lot of drying time in between. but the gas to the range is hooked up, the hood is almost hooked up, and we’re getting a tiny step closer to being finished every week.
