we moved to portugal in 2022, and bought our farm in January 2024. when we left Los Angeles, our dream was to find a little farm by the sea, where we could raise our son in nature, surf, be surrounded by animals and learn to farm. we are so happy to welcome you into our home and our life here on the coast of portugal.

"blanco bungalow has absolutely everything you want and need on your holiday. the location is perfect; only a short stroll from the most beautiful beaches and a quick drive to ericeira and peniche. the place itself has been completely renovated and feels fresh and new. i loved that they honoured the farmhouse soul and heritage whilst prioritising comfort. the property is quite big, it has a huge pool and the adega is the best place to chill, grill, read a book or play a game. the views are insane and last but definitely not least, laura & strader are the best hosts; super sweet & helpful and always up for a chat & giggle. you guys are living the dream and we're so grateful to have been a little part of that during our stay. we'll be back, especially now you're getting ponies :-) :-) !!!"

"Surfers Paradise My mate and i stayed in the baja casita on our last surf trip. best spot ever, we ended up staying for two weeks because it was so nice. it's in the best location where we could easily head out for the day to surf peniche, coxos, ericeira and nazare, and be back for dinner. we also drove into lisbon a few times, super quick and nice to pop in and out and end the day with the sunset at the beach. strader and laura were lovely hosts. i'd stay there for a month next time!"

We have really enjoyed our stay as a couple at this beautiful Bungalow and felt right at home from the start. Strader's were very friendly, hospitable, and proactive in communication. The place itself is set in beautiful surroundings and the peaceful nature of Assenta. It is truly set apart by the great design and aesthetic of the space, very stylish rooms, and decor in combination with all the necessities that one needs in a place. In addition to the apartment, we have enjoyed the use of a common area with a swimming pool, lots of outside space, a common kitchen, and a common area with a variety of games, books, and a fireplace. We have truly felt at home and enjoyed this beautiful casita and looking forward to coming back for another stay :)

My friend and I enjoyed staying at the Farm so so much. It's grande, the rooms are spacious, the surroundings are very quiet and the rooms have a lovely boho finish. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and rooms were well equipped. The ponies were so cute. Definitely recommend staying with Laura and Strader - they made us feel so welcomed!

our village

we are located in a small quiet fishing village 15 minutes north of Ericeira, in a beautiful nature preserve. we’re surrounded by endless hiking and mountain biking trails that line the ocean cliffs, with secret trails that drop down to secluded beaches. walk to our local market, butcher, coffee shop, and a few traditional restaurants. here, you will experience an authentic view of life in portugal. slow, genuine, and unpolished in the best possible way. with the countryside at your back and the sea steps away, this is the perfect place to drop your shoulders, lean in and unwind. And when you’re craving a bit more buzz, we’re a quick 40 minutes from lisbon.
