The Blanco Bungalow is Officially For Sale!
No, this is not a test.
The Blanco Bungalow is officially going on the market October 11th, 2022.
As I’m writing this, I’m still in disbelief that it’s all happening.
When we first bought our home back in October of 2018, we never envisioned selling it. In fact, we planned on keeping it forever.
But over the past few years, we realized that life is short, and there’s so many more adventures for us to be had.

I’ve been getting so many questions and DM’s, so I thought I would answer the most frequent questions here.
Please comment at the end of the post if you have any additional questions and I’ll do my best to add and answer them in this post.
WHY ARE YOU SELLING THE BLANCO BUNGALOW?
We’re ready for our next adventure.
WHERE ARE YOU MOVING?
We’re moving to Europe!
WHERE IN EUROPE ARE YOU MOVING?
We’ve decided to keep our specific destination private for now.
We share so much on social media, and we love doing so, but we decided to keep one small part of this journey special for us.
I’m sure I’ll end up sharing eventually, but for now, we’ll just say Europe.
WAS THIS A FLIP?
No, not at all. We never looked at this as a flip or a renovation or anything like that. To us, it was a restoration, a labor of love, and an incredible learning process. We felt like we had a responsibility to our home, to keep the integrity and the original artistry alive and preserve as much as possible, while also bringing it into the present.
Every design decision I’ve made over the years has been made with the most thoughtful choices and a sense of permanence.
WAIT, AREN’T YOU SO SAD?
Omg yes! But that’s what a good therapist is for!
And thankfully, I have a great one:)
Lots of therapy, lots of journaling, lots of meditation, and self-care.
We’ve been working on making this dream move come true for the past year, so we’ve had a lot of time to process it. But yes, I’m still emotional.
This is the first home we’ve ever owned, a dream that at one point, we never even thought was even possible. So for us, to achieve that dream, and then make the decision to walk away, has been so hard. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into this home, learned so much, and created so many memories here.
However, we are also SO excited for our next chapter, so I try to stay focused on that.
ARE YOU SELLING ALL OF YOUR FURNITURE? YOUR DECOR? YOUR RUGS? YOUR BED?
These have probably been the number one questions.
At this time, only the house is for sale.
If I decide to put anything for sale, you will for sure be the first to know.
This has been incredibly difficult to let go of the home itself. Yes, I’ve sold a lot of my possessions already via garage sales and online platforms, and each time, it has been incredibly difficult.
I know we can’t take everything with us.
But every item in my home has a story, a memory, and meaning.
I know at the end of the day, it’s just stuff, but it’s my stuff.
I only ask that you please honor how difficult this entire process has been and engage with sensitivity.
So again, if I decide to sell anything, I will let you know.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH YOUR PIZZA RESTAURANTS, LITTLE COYOTE?
We’re keeping them! I mean, Little Coyote is named after our child, Coyote Hawk Moon. (yes he does exist:)
We couldn’t walk away from that too!
We have an incredible business partner/chef, Jack who will take the lead, and an incredible staff that will keep serving you up delicious pizza, and we’ll be popping back from time to time to say hello.
So don’t worry, Little Coyote isn’t going anywhere.
WILL THERE BE A EUROPEAN BLANCO BUNGALOW 2.0?
Absolutely!
We’re going to take a little time to relax and settle in once we land across the pond, but soon after we’ll be on the hunt for our next dream home, aka our magical European Villa. So don’t worry, we’ll definitely include you in that search, and I literally can’t wait!
