ORGANIC STEEL CUT OATS

Lately I've been feeling super sluggish and I realized that I've forgotten about some of my favorite go-to breakfast recipes that are healthy, give me energy, and keep me full long through my morning.  Here is my favorite Steel Cut Oats Recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup Organic Steel Cut Oats

1/2 Cup Organic Coconut Milk

1 Scoop Protein Powder of your Choice

1/2 Organic Banana (Sliced)

Dash of Organic Cinnamon

Directions:

Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Slowly stir in 1 cup of organic steel cut oats. When oats begin to thicken, approximately 5 minute, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes.  Take off stove, transfer to a bowl, stir in Coconut Milk, Protein Powder, top with a dash of cinnamon and banana.

Feel free to add any additional superfood toppings.  I just like it simple most days, but if I get a little bored, I'll mix it up with blueberries, goji berries or strawberries.
